Resume Critique Workshop

Survive & Thrive, the Library’s popular job seeking series, will offer a workshop on building better resumes for effective job searching. A resume is your first handshake with a potential employer. It’s a thirty-second snapshot of who you are and what you have to offer an employer. Getting your story organized and your words right can make all the difference in whether you shine enough to be offered an interview.

If your resume writing skills can use a little fine-tuning, then we encourage you to attend this special workshop where local Human Resource professionals will sit down with you in a one-on-one meeting and privately review your resume and offer important tips and advice on improvement based on what today’s employers are looking for in a resume.

Monday, June 15th, noon to 1:30 PM, Central Library Auditorium. Reservations are recommended but not required. Call 703-2908 to register or e-mail shoafa2@forsythlibrary.org for more information. Don’t forget to bring a current resume with you.
