Local Author to Read from her New Book

Author Beth Fain’s new book Good Grief: A Caremap for the Grief Journey is written for anyone connected to grief, whether you sustained the loss or it affects someone you care about. This book focuses on educating, encouraging, informing and guiding people stricken with grief for the emotional journey to promote healing and living whole again. One can better prepare for the journey when they know what to anticipate and what to pack. There are many steep hills and valleys of despair to anticipate.

After losing two children, I was at a loss for purpose and understanding both for my loss and for the decreased awareness of grief. There are many misconceptions that guide people in their responses to the bereaved. This book addresses those perceptions and behaviors with honesty and gripping personal stories to enhance understanding for the readers. Reynolda Manor, Monday, July 20 @ 7 pm.
