Author and librarian Veronica Davis will wrap up our celebration of Black History with a discussion of slaves who participated in the Civil War and their grave sites around North Carolina.
Ms. Davis is the founder of “Virginia Roots,” a company that preserves, promotes and presents African American history of Virginia. She is the author of Here I Lay My Burdens Down: A History of Black Cemeteries of Richmond, Virginia.
