Summer Sizzles: Travel to Novel Destinations

Summer reading is not just for kids! The adult summer reading theme, Summer Sizzles: Novel Destinations, provides a perfect opportunity to focus on travel. Enjoy books about places near and far that you’d love to visit. Learn about safe, fun travel planning, and check out a book, travel guide, audiobook, or ebook to transport you “literally” to novel destinations!!!

Focus on Travel @ Kernersville Library

June 9 @ 11 am - Out on the Town: Day Trips and Local Fun
July 14 @ 11 am - Hit the Road: Bike Tours in the Southeast & Across the US
August 11 @ 11 am - Take to the Skies: International Travel
August 19 @ 2 pm - Movie & Discussion of Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert in Room 4

All events will take place in the Paddison Room in the Library except the August 19th program. Register for this year’s summer reading program beginning June 11th.
