Modernist Architecture Photo Contest Showcase

Preserve Historic Forsyth Inc. is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to supporting the preservation of architectural, community, artifacts and natural heritage of Forsyth County. The Modernist Architecture Photo Contest identifies outstanding amateur photos of Modernist architecture constructed in Forsyth County since 1940. The winners and honorable mentions of this year’s contest will be on display now through Friday, September 16th at the Rural Hall Library.

The winners of the 2011 contest and their photo subjects are:

  • 1st place, Houck Medford, Main & 4th Streets
  • 2nd place, John Heubel, 226 N. Marshall Street
  • 3rd place, Scott Sturdy, 401 N. Main Street
