Art Shows Feature Community Artists

The Library’s goal is to provide a variety of high-quality art shows. We are always interested in art of good quality, creativity, and interest to our customers. Artwork must be ready to hang and must be appropriate for a Library setting. Selection of art shows rests with Library staff. The Lewisville Library has 50 feet of wall space in the Auditorium for Art shows and offers a hook and wire system that is very flexible. The artist may display prices for artwork, but sales are strictly between the artist and the customer. The Library takes no commission on sales. Artists may also book the auditorium for a reception if desired, and invite friends, relatives, and the public to view the show. In the past, the Lewisville Library has featured many local artists including members of the Lewisville Art Guild and the Muddy River Art Association, as well as art from the Lewisville Elementary School, and West Forsyth High School. Call the Library at 336-703-2940 and get your art show booked now.
