Art Class in Walkertown on Monday, May 5th

Abstract Acrylic Painting for beginners.

This class will explore basic approaches to painting with acrylic, understanding the materials, mixing the colors, different painting techniques with focus on manipulation of paint rather than the subject matter. You will learn how to let-go, to loosen-up while painting and produce work that is bold, colorful and expressive. There will be many demonstrations, lots of one-on-one instruction.

Monday, May 5th, 10am - 12 noon at the Walkertown Branch Library.

Registration required by hone 336-703-2990. The class is limited to 6 participants.

List of Supplies that you need to bring for the Class:

1. A set of Acrylic paints for beginners

2. A set of brushes for acrylic paints for beginners

3.A palette for mixing paints

4.An apron

5 A spray bottle

6. One or two canvases. (12”x12” or 14x 16” )

7. Paper towels

8. A container for water

9. Paper for acrylic or watercolor
