Sergeant Leon Tysinger Retires

Sergeant Tysinger began his law enforcement career in 1986 as a Park Ranger for Tanglewood Park in Clemmons. Before joining the FCSO family in 1996, Sergeant Tysinger worked with the Winston-Salem Police Department and North Carolina Department of Corrections. He has served in many areas of law enforcement throughout his career, including Patrol, Community Policing and Transportation.

Sergeant Tysinger has earned many achievements in his career to include an AAS in Criminal Justice, promotion to Corporal in 2011 and promotion to Sergeant in 2013. He plans to return as a Reserve Officer to continue serving the citizens of Forsyth County.

Sergeant Tysinger’s knowledge, guidance and pleasant personality will be missed and we wish him the best in all future endeavors. Congratulations Sergeant Tysinger!
