Daytime Trick or Treating at Walkertown Branch

Families with young children are invited to stop by Walkertown Branch this Friday, Oct. 31. Come in costume to claim a piece of candy or to take a picture with the Halloween-scene backdrop beside Ms. Margaret's door. (Surely you know that the ridiculously silly giant spider isn't real--right?)

Be our guest during regular Friday hours on Halloween Day, starting at 10 am. Since we close promptly at 6, we strongly suggest that you arrive at or before 5 o'clock. We can't predict how many families may come during our last open hour.

Crawford the Bear and Boris the Lion will be on hand for photos Friday, as well. Crawford always loves to share a book with a human friend.

May we also suggest a walk around our Community Garden in its fall splendor? Donations of birdseed to treat the library birds are welcome anytime, especially with winter nearing.
