'Money Habitudes® for Teens’ is a card game that gets high school and middle school students talking about money in a fun, non-threatening way. With the hands-on conversation starter and a money personality assessment, teens begin to understand their unique spending habits and attitudes about money. Such understanding has potential to affect their financial decisions right away as well as in the long run.
Betty Ann Falkner, Director of The Center for Smart Financial Choices, will guide the game and lead the program. The Center for Smart Financial Choices was established in 2011 as a non-profit membership organization which provides educational courses that assist people by encouraging financial competency.
Their Mission is to empower all individuals to achieve financial wellness through all stages of life. They do this by educating individuals, providing them with choices, and helping them to change their behaviors. They partner with community agencies, schools and other non-profits to provide educational programs at convenient locations.
