This week in Summer Reading!

We are now midway through our summer reading program, so now’s a good time to make sure you are turning in your reading logs. If you haven’t started a reading log yet, it’s not too late…. we make it easy to keep track of your reading this summer. Here's just a small sampling of what's happening this week.

NC Zoo presents "Animal Heroes, learn about some unconventional heroes of the animal world and meet a few live ones. Tuesday, July 7 at 10:30 am (Clemmons) and later at 2pm (Carver). Be a superhero for a furry friend! Learn the proper way to handle animals, so you and them stay safe, at our Reynolda Branch - Jul, 9th starting at 10:30 am.

Light up the night, Teens! Join us at Clemmons Branch, Tuesday, July 7 @ 3:30 pm to light up the night with a Summer Reading twist. Call 703-2920 to register - space is limited.

Adults, come learn about the building blocks of a health lifestyle at Carver on July 7 starting at 2 pm.

Don’t forget our Summer Reading prizes: every reader that completes a summer reading log (that’s 480 minutes for kids and teens, 3 books for adults) will be entered into drawings for Barnes & Noble gift cards worth $25 and $100, AND every child under the age of 13 who completes a reading log will also be entered into a drawing to win two free tickets to a Wake Forest football game. Go Deacs!

Check out our Summer Reading page to link to calendars, booklists, information, and to sign up for your summer reading log. It’s easier to do than ever before and we are here to assist you with all your questions. Just remember that every hero has a story and, if you unmask yours, you can escape the ordinary @ the library!

Kids and Teens here's a special achievement code for this week: sR15Wk5. Come back each week for a new code and like our Facebook page for even more codes.
