Videos Make Using Library Services Easy

We hope that you find these videos helpful and we would like to hear from you. Please complete our brief survey after watching a video to let us know your thoughts. If there are services at the Library you would like to learn about, please let us know. Our goal is to provide video tutorials for popular questions that are readily available to view on computers, tablets, or smartphones.

The Forsyth County Public Library is part of NC Cardinal, a consortium of public libraries from across North Carolina who share their collections with each other. One of the best ways to access items from this vast collection of books, movies, audiobooks, and music is to place items on hold through your online account. This video tutorial will show you how to access your account, review items you have checked out, and how to change the status of held items.

Placing items on hold is a fast and easy way to get the items you want transferred to the library branch where it is most convenient for you to pick them up. This video will show you how to search for books and other materials in NC Cardinal, how to place a hold, and how to choose a pick-up location.
