"Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" Book Discussion at Walkertown

Jules Verne's 1870 novel, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea , was considered one of the premiere adventure novels and one of Verne's greatest works. It was ahead of its time as it accurately described features on submarines, which at that time were very primitive vessels. It had a bold political vision, and anticipated the ecology movement.

Join us as we discuss this classic story on Saturday August 13 at 10:30. Everyone is invited, even if you have not read the book. Refreshments provided.
