Gotta catch 'em all!

With the latest craze, Pokémon Go , we are delighted to discover some new visitors are hanging out at the library. Some Forsyth County Public Libraries have been designated as Pokémon Gyms and Pokéstops. Pokémon Go is a free app that uses real-time maps (via Google Maps) to create a “world” in which players can explore and catch Pokémon. In the game, players catch and train Pokémon in order to compete at Gyms. Pokemon Gyms are places where trainers can compete and battle for prestige, earn badges, and make their Pokémon bigger, badder, and better, Pokéstops are places to gather much-needed supplies. Stop by and see which Pokémon pops up for you and while you're at the library you may be able to compete against other trainers and perhaps help your chosen team claim one of the Pokémon Gyms as their own.
