OTSP presents Margaret Maron at the Bookmarks Festival

Join the Forsyth County Public Library and On The Same Page as we present acclaimed NC author, Margaret Maron, at Bookmarks' 2017 Festival of Books and Authors. On the Same Page is an annual community book reading program that seeks to broaden appreciation of literature through the shared experience of reading and discussing a single work of literature. It offers us a unique opportunity to see things through a different perspective, one that will only expand our understanding of the world around us. Margaret Maron's Take Out: a Sigrid Harald novel is this year's On the Same Page title.

Margaret Maron is the bestselling mystery author of detective novels, including the well-known Deborah Knott series. In 2008, she received the NC Award for Literature, and in 2016, she was inducted into the NC Literary Hall of Fame. The Mystery Writers of America celebrated Maron’s contributions to the mystery genre in 2013 by naming her a Grand Master – an honor first bestowed on Agatha Christie. What she says will be her last book, Take Out, is a thrilling new mystery in her NYPD Detective Sigrid Harald series.
