Central Spelling Bee Winners

Congratulations to the winners of Central's Spelling Bee contest this past Saturday!

• Winner: J.C.B.
• 1st Runner Up: Meredith

The competition gave parents and spectators a rousing display of wit, intellect, and agility with letters. All of the participants were well-equipped with the skills to win, but one conquered all: J.C.B. The first runner up of the competition, Meredith, matched J.C.B.'s skillful spelling, earning her a spot in Central's Spelling Bee History. We are very proud of all of the participants of the spelling bee, and we look forward to the county-wide competition coming in April!

The winner will compete in the county-wide championship spelling bee alongside the other branch library winners. The championship is scheduled for Saturday, April 14th at 2:30 pm in the Central Library Auditorium.
