Author Talks with Lynne Hinton at the Lewisville Branch

The Lewisville Branch Library is very excited to welcome New York Times best-selling and local author, Lynne Hinton, as a guest speaker in June. Ms. Hinton will be discussing her latest book, The View From Here.

Lynne's latest novel is a story about a middle-aged woman trying to find herself and coming to the realization that the only place she can do it happens to be thirty-five feet up a pine tree. This is a story of love and forgiveness, about loss and what it means to be family. It’s a story about finding peace in whatever place you call home.

Lynne Hinton was born and raised in North Carolina. She attended Wake Forest University and is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro. She also attended NC School of the Arts, School of Filmmaking and graduated with her Masters of Divinity from Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California. Lynne is the author of twenty books, including the NY Times Bestsellers, Friendship Cake and Pie Town, the 2011 NM Book of the Year: Fiction/Adventure, Drama Category and 2011 National Federation of Press Women's Fiction Book of the Year. For more information about Lynne Hinton, please visit her website.
