Sensory-Friendly Movie: "The Year Without a Santa Claus" (NR)

Everyone is welcome to this Sensory-Friendly Holiday Film. The movie will be shown in the Lewisville Branch Library's auditorium with low lighting (dim lights will remain on) and the sound turned slightly down. English subtitles will be turned on. You are free to move around and make noise during the film in a judgement-free zone. Families are permitted to bring their own snacks from home. You may bring blankets to lie on if you wish, but chairs will be provided.

"The Year Without a Santa Claus" (NR) is an animated fantasy about a saddened Santa who decides not to make his annual ride. The score includes holiday favorites such as "Blue Christmas," along with six tunes composed by Maury Laws and Jules Bass. Produced by Warner Bros. in 1974. Run-time is 60 minutes.
