American Indian Astronomy

The sun, moon, and stars have great importance to American Indians. Using objects from MOA’s collections, learn how different Plains Tribes relied on these celestial bodies every day. As part of the program, teens will use native symbols and a variety of materials to decorate a pouch.

Where: Teen Central, second floor of Central Library
Who: Ages 12-18
When: Wednesday, July 17 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
