Deputy Sheriff II James R. Tatman Retires

Deputy James Tatman began his Law Enforcement career with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in 2006. Deputy Tatman was promoted to the rank of Deputy Sheriff II in 2017.

During his career, Deputy Tatman received 10 years’ service commendation bar and several letters of commendation.

Deputy Tatman served in the US Army, E-4 Specialist from 1982 to 1986.

Throughout the course of his career, Deputy Tatman served in Field Services Division, Investigative Services Division and Judicial Services Division. At the time of his retirement, he was a Deputy in the Judicial Services Division.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Deputy Tatman all the best in his future endeavors.
