"We Still Live Here" documentary film showing at Central Library

The Wampanoag tribe ensured the survival of the Pilgrims in New England and lived to regret it. Through resilience and courage they kept their identity alive and remained on their ancestral lands. Now a cultural revival is taking place, including the revival of their language, which is the first time a language with no native speakers has been revived.

Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Central Library Auditorium. There will be a panel discussion after the film. This film is part of the RiverRun Indie Lens Pop-Up series of documentaries, shown in partnership with the Forsyth County Public Library.
