Join us twice a month on Wednesdays for our new children's program series featuring a variety of topics. A limited number of supply kits will be available upon request at the Clemmons Branch Library.

Feb. 17 - Celebrate Black History Month's theme of family by learning how to research your family tree. Then create your own family tree to fill in.
Supplies needed:
Mar. 3 - World Wildlife Day - Join us to explore this year's theme of "Forests and Livelihoods" with some fun facts and quizzes. Then create a food chain to show how all creatures play an important role in our world.
Supplies Needed:
Mar. 17 - What's poppin? It's National Bubble Week! Join us to learn about the science behind bubbles and then do some fun experiments.
Supplies Needed:
- Bubbles with a wand
- Pipe cleaners
Apr. 7 - Get lit with photosynthesis! Learn more about how plants eat and why they're so important. Then make your own potted plant to take care of.
Supplies Needed:
- A paper cup
- Potting soil
- Seeds (any variety)
Apr. 21 - What's the buzz? It's time to take a look at some un-bee-lieveable insects - the bees! Learn about the different types of bees and make a mason bee hotel.
Supplies Needed:
- A small plastic bottle (water bottle, soda bottle, etc.)
- Dried bamboo
- Scissors and a hole punch
- String
