Community Conversation on behavioral health service transition in Forsyth County
Forsyth County and Partners Health Management are hosting a Community Conversation about the upcoming transition from Cardinal Innovations Healthcare to Partners managing intellectual/developmental disability, mental health and substance use disorder services for individuals in Forsyth County that are funded by Medicaid, state and county funds. The event will be April 28 at 5:30 p.m. on Zoom. Register online at: http://bit.ly/PartnersConversation.
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners voted on November 12, 2020 to begin disengagement from Cardinal Innovations Healthcare as the Local Management Entity/Managed Care Organization (LME/MCO), and chose to pursue a relationship with Partners to manage the county’s behavioral health services in order to improve the delivery of those services to residents. The disengagement plan and link to submit public comments can be found at https://forsyth.cc/disengagementplan.aspx. The public comment period for disengagement ends May 5, 2021.
