Join us Wednesdays for our new children's program series featuring a variety of topics. A limited number of supply kits will be available upon request at the Clemmons Branch Library.

All crafts will require the following:
- Scissors
- Glue (stick or liquid)
- Tape
- Pen or marker
Sept. 1 - Once in a blue moon...
Learn about what a blue moon is and why they happen so rarely. Then make a craft using the phases of the moon.
Supplies needed:
- 1 large paper plate
- 5 small paper plates
- Yarn or cord
- Markers, colored pencils, crayons, etc
Sept. 15 - Roald Dahl Day
Can you identify a witch? Escape an enormous crocodile? Or pull off a topsy-turvy trick? Join us for some fun activities in honor of children's author Roald Dahl.
Supplies needed:
- Green and white paper
- Ruler
- Cup
- A piece of card
- Water
Oct. 6 - Joan Miro Art
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by learning about famous painter and sculptor Joan Miro. Then try your hand at creating art in his style.
Supplies needed:
- Construction paper or cardstock (white works best, but other colors are fine)
- Painter's tape
- Watercolor paint or markers
- Black marker
- Coffee filters
Oct. 20 - International Sloth Day
Celebrate our favorite slow-moving animal with trivia and a craft.
Supplies needed:
- Brown construction paper or lightweight cardboard
- White paper
- Two clothespins
Nov. 3 - King Tut Day
Supplies needed:
- Paper of any kind
- Markers/crayons/colored pencils
