Sergeant Brian R. Gieger Retires

Sergeant Brian R. Gieger began his Law Enforcement career in 1994 as a Detention Officer. Sergeant Gieger earned several promotions throughout his career. He received his BLET certification in 2004 and became a Deputy Sheriff in 2005. Several years later, Sergeant Gieger was promoted to Sergeant in 2018.

During his career, Sergeant Gieger received several certifications. He received a 25 Years’ Service Commendation Bar, 15 letters of commendation, and Staff Member of the Month.

Throughout the course of his career, Sergeant Gieger served in various capacities within the Law Enforcement Detention Center and Field Service Division. He also served on the Honor Guard, served as a K-9 Handler, and as a Field Training Officer.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Sergeant Brian Gieger all the best in his future endeavors.
