May-June Art Exhibit

Visit Forsyth County Central Library gallery now through June to see two local artists with an abundance of talent but very different artistic styles.

Phyllis Arnold was born in Orangeburg, SC and grew up in Coweta County, GA. She has been inspired by the places she has lived and visited across the southeastern states. Phyllis has a gift for realism in landscape and still life paintings. Her artistic achievements have resulted in her work being made into prints and also greeting cards. Though her pieces can be found around the world Phyllis and her husband are happy to now call Winston-Salem their new home.

Naomi Greenberg, a native of Kibbutz Cabri, Israel, has spent half of her life in North Carolina. Naomi was drawn to Winston-Salem by UNCSA where she pursued her second passion, contemporary dance. In her daily life Naomi works as a medical office administrator, but her free time is dedicated to her first passion: visual art. Over the years she has honed her drawing and painting skills, focusing on themes from philosophical and spiritual studies to create what she calls "an intimate exploration of self, life, and consciousness via a surreal lens of multi-dimensional realities."
