Stepping Up Day of Action is May 30

Please join us on Tuesday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Forsyth County Stepping Up Initiative Day of Action. The Day of Action will be located on the grass lot off Carl Russell Ave near the Highland Ave Center. Commissioner Gloria Whisenhunt and Deputy County Manager Shontell Robinson will speak to open the event. You will hear from current and graduated participants of both the Stepping Up Process to End Recidivism (SUPER) and the Mental Health Court. You will learn about what both programs offer. We will have fun with the community by playing games, eating at various food trucks, listening to music, and creating recovery art. Come out in support of May is Mental Health Awareness Month and send out May by busting stigma!
