Voter ID Information Sessions
Voters will be asked to show photo ID when voting in North Carolina starting with the 2023 Municipal Elections. The Forsyth County Board of Elections will be hosting voter ID information sessions beginning this month of September until the month of December. In these sessions, you will be able to learn about North Carolina's new voter ID requirements, ask questions and get a voter ID on demand if you would like. See below the upcoming voter ID information sessions:
September 19, 2023 - from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the Central Library in Winston Salem
September 23, 2023 - from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Department of Social Services
September 26, 2023 - from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Board of Elections Office
October 17, 2023 - from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Lewisville Library
November 14, 2023 - from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Southside Library
December 5, 2023 - from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Kernersville Library
The Board of Elections will also host voter ID information sessions in 2024. Those dates will be announced soon.
