Author Visit: Eliot D. Esparza

Meet Eliot D. Esparza, award-winning author of the mind-bending adventure novel My Mind Is Not Yours: Welcome to Tarot Tori City.

Eliot is originally from North Carolina. He was born unto a librarian mother and grew up surrounded by books and by readers reading them. He developed a passion for the written word and dreamt of publishing his own novel someday. He pursued this dream all the way to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and learned the skills necessary to become an author.

Eliot loves thought-provoking stories. Thought-provoking science-fiction stories in particular. He says that he feels compelled to write and that he writes "with his whole spirit."

Eliot will join us in Teen Central to talk about what it takes to write, illustrate, and publish your own stories. Copies of My Mind Is Not Yours: Welcome to Tarot Tori City, the first in a series, will be available to purchase.

Light refreshments will be provided. Attendees must sign a program waiver to eat or drink the refreshments.
