Library branches to host 4-H Adult Volunteer Information Sessions in January

Is volunteering on your list of New Year’s resolutions? Are you passionate about helping youth contribute to their communities through responsibility, leadership, critical thinking and other lifelong skills? Consider becoming an adult volunteer with Forsyth County 4-H.

The Forsyth County 4-H is a national youth development program that uses volunteers to lead clubs and assist the county program in teaching personal and vocational skills to youth that will make them well-rounded adults. 4-H volunteers take on many different roles, from leading clubs that meet once a month to judging annual contests. If you’d like to learn more about being a 4-H volunteer, attend an information session at one of three Forsyth County Public Library branches in January. The sessions will be presented by Anika Parks, volunteer coordinator with N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County. Registration is requested. Please register through Eventbrite.
