NOTICE OF THE FORSYTH COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS’ WINTER WORK SESSION AND MEETING FOR JANUARY 29,

NOTICE is hereby given that the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners’ Winter Work Session scheduled for January 29, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room on the fourth floor of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 North Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, N.C., has been rescheduled to February 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the fifth floor of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 North Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, N.C.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners’ Meeting scheduled for January 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the fifth floor of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 North Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, N.C., will be conducted remotely, as allowed by the Board’s Remote Participation Policy during this state of emergency.

NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing on Ordinance amendment updating various sections of the Unified Development Ordinances (UDO) which reference the Forward 2045 Comprehensive Plan for Winston-Salem and Forsyth County (UDO-CC31) will be conducted remotely, as allowed by the Board’s Remote Participation Policy during this state of emergency.

There will be no meeting place where members of the public can be physically present. The Meeting and public hearing will be broadcast live at 6:00 p.m. on Microsoft Teams. All persons interested are invited by the Board of Commissioners to present their views. A copy of this notice shall be posted on the bulletin boards located outside the Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the fifth floor and also in the lobby on the first floor of the Forsyth County Government Center. A copy of the notice shall be sent to all who receive notification of any changes in the Commissioners’ regular meeting schedule.
