Central Library offers appointments, online resources for help with funding nonprofits

Information Services librarians at the Forsyth County Central Library are scheduling one-hour, in-person appointments to navigate Foundation Directory and search for grantmakers based on subject, geography, types of support and more.

Foundation Directory is just one of several services, programs, and platforms available through the Central Library’s Nonprofit Resource Center, including:

• Books about starting a nonprofit, fundraising, proposal writing and more
• Online resources from Candid, a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive data and insights about the social sector

Acquire techniques for searching Foundation Directory and researching potential funding to support your nonprofit organization’s mission and programs. Get hands-on experience in this session on the second Tuesday each month at 11 a.m. in the Computer Learning Center at Central Library.
