Naloxone is a nasal spray that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose within minutes. It is safe to use and is a critical resource in addressing the overdose epidemic. The training will include how to recognize signs of an overdose and how to administer Naloxone as well as harm reduction strategies and support services available for those who are struggling with addiction.
Naloxone is available free of charge at all ten library branch locations of the Forsyth County Public Library.
