Forsyth County to hold Domestic Violence Vigil on Oct. 23

A Community Vigil for Domestic Violence Awareness Month will be held in front of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 N. Chestnut St., on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 5:45 p.m.

“The vigil honors the lives that have been lost and survivors who have experienced or continue to experience abuse or violence, and it lets family members and friends remember their loved ones," said DeWanna Hamlin, Director of Bridges to Hope Family Justice Center.

The Forsyth County Bridges to Hope Family Justice Center serves local individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, child maltreatment and human trafficking. For information, visit the Bridges to Hope webpage or call (336) 776-3255.
