HUD Issues Updated Home Sales Price Limits Impacting Forsyth County Assistance Programs
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has released updated maximum sales price limits that determine which homes qualify for the County’s assistance programs, including the First-Time Home Buyer Program and the Housing Rehabilitation Program.
According to the updated guidance, the assessed total value of the property is capped at $268,000 for existing construction and $305,000 for new construction. These HUD-established limits ensure that participating homes meet federal affordability standards and help local programs remain aligned with current housing market conditions.
