During the holiday season, Deputy K. Granger was made aware of Christmas wishes of an eight year old girl from Schenectady, New York. The girl lost her immediate family two years ago due to a house fire. The fire was intentionally set and caused the young girl to receive severe burns to her face and amputation a foot and hand.

The girl had one wish: to receive Christmas cards from all over the world to hang on her Christmas tree. Deputy Granger coordinated the effort to send a card from Baker Platoon. Deputy Granger’s benevolence for others is a shining example for all to follow.
