Sheriff’s Accreditation Specialist, K. Long, began her career with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in October 2018. Ms. Long was instrumental in leading the agency through another successful CALEA accreditation on July 31, 2020. Ms. Long worked with staff in all areas within the agency and consulted with outside accreditation specialists in preparation for the annual CALEA assessment. Ms. Long undertook the tedious task of revising standards proofs along with reviewing and updating existing relevant policies. Ms. Long is very passionate about her work and devoted many hours to ensure the policies of this agency were clear and comprehensive. Ms. Long’s commitment and dedication during this endeavor are proudly recognized by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
