New Blockbuster Movie Program at Central Library

Join us at the Central Library downtown Winston Salem every week for Blockbuster Wednesday. Every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. you can watch theatre quality blockbuster movies for free. We have not forgotten the needs of our smallest patrons. The first Wednesday of every month will feature a family film with a G or PG rating. Below you can see a few of our upcoming movies. FCPL Awarded EDGE Grant

This spring, Forsyth County Public Library was awarded the EDGE Grant due to the library’s innovative spirit and technological success. The purpose of the grant is to further improve the library’s technological initiatives and implement a strong technology plan for the community. As part of the EDGE grant initiatives, Forsyth County Public Library is pleased to announce the installation of new technology at our branches. Come check them out!

Matter of Balance: No Cost Balance & Flexibility Program at Walkertown

Do you have concerns about falling? Are you interested in improving your balance and flexibility? Join us for the evidence-based workshop, A Matter of Balance. This 8 session workshop will be held once a week on Fridays, from July 13th to August 31st, from 10 to noon at the Walkertown Branch Library. There is no cost to attend and spaces are limited. Library to Partner with Wake Forest Baptist Health to Present Series on Aging Well

The Library is partnering with Wake Forest Baptist Health to present a year-long series of programs on healthy aging. Programs will take place the second Tuesday of each month in the Central Library Auditorium.
