Home for the Holidays
On December 11-13 the Animal Control Department will once again participate in the nation wide adoption awareness program, Home for the Holidays. A campaign aimed at showcasing pets in need during the holidays.
HOME can mean many things to these animals:
- Adoption of a pet giving it a new home;
- Donating a no longer used or new dog house for an outdoor pet in need of a warm home;
- Pet food donations to help a family in need feed their pet and keep it in the home.
We welcome the community joining us and coming together to assist the homeless and needy pets during this special weekend. With family members home from work and school, the holidays may be an excellent time to welcome a new pet into the family.
