Survive & Thrive @ Your Library: Job Seeker Series

Survive & Thrive @ Your Library aims to help you as a job seeker stay focused and motivated on your job search. Motivational speakers and programs help you become more effective in your search while reframing your thoughts to work with (not against) your present situation.

In September we offer two programs at Central Library and Reynolda Manor Branch Library. More programs are planned, so check FCPL calendars and news often!

BEST TIPS for Surviving Loss of Income

Monday, September 20th at Central Library — Noon - 1:30 pm
Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Forsyth County will be presenting their BEST TIPS program for the public. BEST TIPS stands for Building Economic Sustainability Through Training Initiatives for Personal Success and will focus on reducing expenses strategically while facing unemployment (or tough times).

Wednesday, September 29th at Reynolda Manor Branch Library — 3:00 - 4:30 pm
Tutor.com will be presenting a career webinar focused on evaluating your job search while finding new ways to find available jobs out there. Staff will be available to answer questions following the program.
