The Southside Friends of the Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Southside Branch Library will hold their annual fall book sale in mid October. Stop by and pick up some incredible bargains on a huge selection of materials including a special “bag-o-books” special offer (see details below).

Southside Library Auditorium

Thursday, October 14th, 4:00 - 6:00 pm
A preview and social for the Friends of the Southside Library only. New members can join at the door.

Friday, October 15th, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday, October 16th, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Monday, October 18th, 10:00 am - 9:00 pm (Bag-o-books sale day)

Our prices will be the same as our year-round book sale prices, two dollars for hardbacks and fifty cents for paperbacks. Magazines are twenty-five cents each, AV items are two dollars each, and VHS tapes are just one dollar each. Children’s items are all fifty cents per piece.

On the last day of the sale you can pick up purchase all the books you can fit into a bag (provided by the Friends group) for just five dollars.
