Send a FAX at Central Library

Central Library has added low-cost fax service! FAX24, a send-only fax service for public use, is now available. The FAX24 fax machine is located by the copier on the second floor in the Information Services department.

The fax machine is self-service and uses voice instructions to guide you through the entire fax transaction. (The voice-prompts are in English only at this time.) Faxes cannot be received on this machine.

Fax Rates

To send a fax in the U.S.A., the fee is $1.50 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page. To send an international fax, the fee is $4.95 for the first page and $3.45 for each additional page.

Use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover as payment. You can also purchase a prepaid fax card at the Information Services reference desk. You card will be charged when your fax as been sent successfully.

Operating Instructions

Up to eight (8) pages can be stacked in the fax tray, with any additional pages added as your fax is being sent. You just lift the handset and listen to the step-by-step voice instructions.
