Teen & Tween Programs at the Lewisville Branch Public Library

Programs for Teens & Tweens:

Raspberry Pi Computer Coding Workshop Series
June 26th- June 30th from 1:00 pm -3:00 pm each day
For rising 9-12th graders
Registration required as space is limited.
Note: Participants must attend each day in the five day workshop series as they are progressive.

Develop your coding skills in this workshop series presented by the Wake Forest Computer Science Department. No previous experience with coding is necessary. You will use a Raspberry Pi computer.

Makey Makey Workshop
July 13th from 3:30 pm -4:30 pm
For rising 6-8th graders
Registration required as space is limited.

Turn everyday objects into touchpads! Bring forth your inner inventor in this program presented by the Wake Forest Computer Science Department.

Teen Lock-in
July 28th from 5:15pm -8:15 pm
For rising 6-12th graders
Registration and parental-permission slip required to participate.
Parental-permission slips may be picked up at the front desk of the Lewisville Branch Library and are due by 7/27/17.

We will play games, eat pizza, draw, and have an online chat with a popular author of young adult books.

Game Night
1st and 3rd Monday of the month
4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
For all ages

Come play board games, card games, strategy games, etc. at the Lewisville Branch Library!
Program is drop-in. All ages welcome. Lewisville Branch Public Library
