Sheriff's Office K-9 unit receives dog food donation

On Monday September 11th, Sheriff William T. Schatzman and the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office were presented with 22 bags of dog food for the K-9 Unit. The donation was made possible by Old Nick Williams Company Farm and Distillery’s Grand Opening fundraising event.

The Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit is essential to protecting and preserving the safety and security of our community. K-9 handlers provide care for and work with their dogs daily; the canines are specially trained to detect drugs, firearms, and track and apprehend suspects. This donation ultimately supports community access to the invaluable and versatile resource that the K-9 Unit provides.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank Zeb Williams and Ashlee Ellis from Old Nick Williams Company Farm and Distillery, Jolie Lecnar with Pam Cook Communications and Eric Ryan of the Tractor Supply Co. Clemmons location.
