Tuberculosis Control Clinic

The Tuberculosis Control Clinic provides case management and Directly Observed Therapy (DOT) for persons with suspect or active TB. The clinic also provides follow-up and preventive therapy for individuals with Latent Tuberculosis Infections (LTBI). Skin testing for high-risk individuals is provided through the TB Skin Testing Clinic.

Who is Eligible

Forsyth County residents who have suspect/active TB; latent TB infection (LTBI); or exposure to a contact of an active TB case.


There is no charge for these services.


Appointments can be scheduled by calling (336)703-3100. Appointments are needed for chest x-rays, treatment start for LTBI, evaluations for immigration or employment, and screening/exemption letters. Only individuals currently on LTBI or TB treatment (DOT/DOPT) are seen on a walk-in basis.
