The Forsyth County Animal Services Advisory Board is an eleven (11) member board, appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. The Advisory Board has two types of meetings that alternate monthly. The meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:00 pm at the Forsyth County Animal Shelter 2020 Annual Report

Advisory Board Public Meeting
This meeting is utilized as a forum to solicit public opinion on ordinances, services, and policy.

Appeal Hearing Tribunal
This sub-committee of the Advisory Board hears appeals of civil citations issued by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Animal Services Division and provides the committee an oppurtunity to give written recommendations regarding final disposition to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Animal Services Division Commander. These hearings are not open to the public.
