Becoming a Beekeeper Training
Beekeeping in Piedmont North Carolina can offer some sweet rewards, but it requires a year-round commitment to achieve success, and most importantly, to keep honey bees healthy and productive. What basic equipment is needed to get started? What predators, diseases, and parasites have the greatest impact on local hives? What varieties of honey bees are best adapted for North Carolina? Learn the answers to these questions, plus where to go for the most current information and support to promote a positive outcome for both bees and beginning beekeepers on January 22 from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. virtually Registration is required. Register using Eventbrite and then you will receive a meeting link via email.
