FOR THE FOLLOWING TAXING UNITS:
FORSYTH COUNTY, WINSTON-SALEM, KERNERSVILLE,
CLEMMONS, LEWISVILLE, RURAL HALL,
WALKERTOWN, TOBACCOVILLE, BETHANIA, KING AND HIGH POINT

Under and by virtue of the authority vested in John T Burgiss, the Forsyth County Tax Assessor/Collector, by Section 105-369 of the General Statutes of North Carolina and pursuant to an order of the Board of Commissioners of Forsyth County, dated March 16, 2023, the said Forsyth County Tax Assessor/Collector hereby advertises tax liens for the year 2022 upon the real estate identified below. The amounts advertised represents only the principal taxes for tax year 2022 that remain unpaid. The actual amount owed will be increased by all taxes owed for prior tax years, interest, fees and costs. The omission of prior years’ taxes and interest, fees and costs from the amounts advertised will not constitute a waiver of the taxing units’ claim for these items. A brief description of each parcel of real estate to which a lien has attached, the name of the person to whom the property is listed for taxes or the name of the record owner as of January 6, 2023 or subsequent owners and the statement of principal amount of taxes constituting a lien against the real estate are set out below. If these taxes remain unpaid, the lien may be foreclosed by the taxing unit and the property sold subject to the lien to satisfy the taxing units’ claim for taxes.

The list of tax liens will be divided for purposes of advertisement in more than one newspaper. The newspapers in which the advertisements will appear are the Winston-Salem Journal, Winston-Salem Chronicle, The Clemmons Courier, and The Kernersville News. This advertisement will be published during the week of May 8, 2023.
