The Friends of the Rural Hall/Stanleyville Branch Library was organized in 1985 to support our local branch library. We work to provide public support for our branch. Our group provides money for programs, equipment, and supplies that the County otherwise does not fund. Our mission is to make this a place where all citizens can visit and have access to all the tools and literature they need in their everyday life. The Friends is a non-profit organization. Every dollar raised through our activities goes directly to the library.

The standing meeting time is the second Monday of the month (6 months of the year) at 6:00 p.m. Please come out to any of the monthly meetings and consider joining this worthwhile group. For more information about the Friends, please contact the Rural Hall Branch Library at 336-703-2970 or
