As a part of its annual budget, Forsyth County provides funding for non-profit agencies to provide community services to Forsyth County residents. This funding, called "Special Appropriations," is for a period of one year.
The limited budget for appropriations is open to non-profits who provide social, artistic, cultural or economic development services for Forsyth County residents.
Emphasis should be on a specific amount requested and on new services that will be provided.
Funding for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Applications open January 29, 2024 at 12:00 noon and are due February 26, 2024 at 12:00 noon.

Special Appropriations applications will be submitted online in Fiscal Year 2024-2025 using the Forsyth County Community Portal. Forsyth County is no longer accepting paper applications.
